Our little baby turned 1, and I couldn't help but do something special and throw him a little party.
Tucker woke up to a room full of balloons, which he LOVED (and is still enjoying 2 weeks later), streamers hanging from his door, and a banner on his crib. He was excited by all the new fun things that filled his room.
We spent the morning playing in his room with the balloons, then gave him his gifts after breakfast. Tucker got a new car seat and a Little Tikes Cozy Coupe. Lucky for him his aunts, uncle, and cousins spoiled him all day by taking him for rides and holding him as much as he wanted.
In the afternoon we had a fun little party for him with the family and a few friends. The children all loved playing with the balloons and toys in Tucker's room while the adults ate some yummy food and socialized. Mr. T just sat around enjoying his party. He was expecially excited when it came time for cake. Tucker devoured his birthday cupcake and even begged for another one (to which I indulged him . . . it was his birthday after all). After cake Tucker got to open his gifts. He got a couple fun puzzles, some clothes, shoes, a train set, and some food. He was such a good sport and let his sister open most of them for him.
All in all the party was a success. Tucker didn't cry when we sang "Happy Birthday" and ate his cupcake. He was happy the entire day and party and got spoiled by his family and friends. He is one lucky boy.
Thank you everyone who came to celebrate his day with us. I can't believe a year has past. Time flies.
