Michael's 29th Birthday

Back in November we celebrated Michael's 29th Birthday. This year he requested an apple pie for this "birthday cake". I have never made a pie before, but it turned out great. There are a few things I will do differently next time, but it was delicious.

Since his birthday was on a work day, we didn't get to do much on the actual day. But, thanks to my sister, Lindsey, and her husband, Kenny, babysitting Jada and Tucker, I was able to take Michael out on a surprise date the Saturday before. We went and saw Interstellar, which he had been wanting to see, and then went to lunch at Mr. Taco in Roswell. We were also able to go check out the T-mobile store and had an awesome time there getting a signal booster and picking out our new phones. We went to the one in Alpharetta and their customer service was amazing. Best T-mobile location around. Michael has been needing an upgrade for years and welp, his time finally has come. (Side note: If it were up to me he would have had one a long time ago. He has been very indecisive about what phone he wants . . . hence the lack of a new one for years.)

It was so fun to go out together and to have an afternoon to ourselves. It was perfect.

Happy Birthday Michael! We sure are lucky to have you.
