Piranha's End of Season Banquet

On the last Thursday of June, we had an exciting GQMF End of Season Banquet. Almost as soon as we arrived, the rain started pouring down. It made it for one fun dinner, awards ceremony, and race.

Tucker was so excited to get to swim his one and only race, and was so excited when the rain let up enough for him to do it. He did great:)

As for Miss Jada, she has been talking all season about how much she wanted to earn a trophy, and her dreams came true. One boy and one girl from each age group is award a Most Improved award, and then an MVP. Jada was so excited when she won her age groups MVP. She played it cool, but as soon as she came back to Michael and I, she couldn't help but jump up and down. As soon as we got home, she called up her Maimi & Poppi, and Gramma & Grandpa J to tell them all the exciting news.

We are so proud of you, Jada, for all of your hard work and dedication. You can do anything you set your mind to, and you proved that this swim season. You rocked it!

And Tucker, our little fish, you did amazing. Many parents approached me during practice to comment on how well you swam and gave you the nickname of "the fish". You are an amazing little man. You will be awesome next year when you get to compete!

Sorry for the picture of a picture, but its the best I can do. Here are the kids swim team photos for this year. I wasn't planning on getting them but the kids both insisted. Can't say I regret it, they are pretty cute:)
